Bishop's Baby Shower

My parents, Britnie, and my sister (#thegoldencheers) hosted a baby shower at my parents home last Friday in honor of the Bishops having their first baby boy.

Game #1

What will baby Bishop look like?

Guests had to create their very own baby Bishop out of 3 strips of Alee or Eric's mouth, nose, eyes, and hair.

Nancy won hands down.

Game #2

Who can eat baby food the quickest while being fed?

Game #3

Who can chug beer, an izze, or ginger beer the fastest?

Game #4

If you say the word, "baby," or "boy," you have to wear a diaper.

Last but not least a video.

Cannot wait to meet you baby Bishop!

Once upon a time...

there was a girl named Brittan who was born in a place called Riverside, that's not actually by a river, mind you. Her birth is still celebrated to this day. Last year it was celebrated like so. This year we  celebrated in the apple plenty city of Julian. We spotted deer once or twice, ate good comfort food (a van Beuge sister must) and picked apples (a requirement if spending a day in Julian). Oh and of course took heaps of photos.

Rewind

Remember a couple of months ago when I went to NYC?

Well....finally getting around to editing those photos.

Here's a shot from the top of the Rock (top of the Rockefeller Center).

Couldn't decide between sepia and color.

Which one do you like?

Jen & Joe Smit

In July I went to Canada to see my dear friend Jen get married.

I met Jen in Northern Ireland in 2008. It's amazing to see where God has taken each of us from my DTS (Discipleship Training School) to life here and now.

Here's a peek at what went down on River's Edge in Canada July 14, 2012.
